SportsAble - The Disability Sports Club in Maidenhead, Berkshire

SportsAble is a unique sports disability charity, dedicated to the promotion of awareness of disability through sport and recreational activity - and the integration of disabled and able-bodied people.

SportsAble is a very ambitious and successful club, and was recognised as one of the chosen training grounds for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Its most recent accolade is becoming one of the first recipients of the English Federation of Disability Sport Nationwide Star Club Award, given in recogition for excellence in the provision of sports, coaching, facilities and support that it provides.

SportsAble is known for both its sporting endeavour and self-help. Many of our Members are international champions at European, World and Paralympic levels.

We are, however, equally active at the development at grass root level and are continually working to introduce sport to disabled people in the community through outreach programmes with schools and other sports and social clubs.
