Three comedians from the UK’s impressive talent pool of funny men will be hoping to raise the roof with their jokes, as well as raising valuable funds to support disabled people and their families in the Borough, with an evening of side- splitting comedy being hosted at SportsAble, Braywick Road on Friday 25th November.

Headlining the evening will be Paul Pirie, an impressive, brisk, energetic performer who has been entertaining sell out audiences since 2005. Paul will be supported by Chris Betts, a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Jimmy James Jones, one of the hottest new comedians to hit the circuit. The evening will be compered by Steve N Allen, best known for his role as Co-Host of BBC 2’s The Mash Report.

“The event is open to everyone in the area, you don’t have to be a member of SportsAble,  and it promises to be a fun and affordable night out for anybody who likes a good laugh”, says SportsAble’s Community Fundraising Manager, Ben Harris, whose own life has been transformed by the work SportsAble delivers.

“This will be a perfect night out for groups of friends to enjoy a good giggle pre-Christmas. The acts are really strong and I know Steve N Allen will do a superb job as compere. We have hosted several comedy nights and they always go down a storm.”

Doors open at 7pm and the bar will be open until midnight. Tickets are available for purchase now online either by visiting the SportsAble Facebook page and clicking on ‘Events’  or direct via the Eventbrite website.
