Arctic One Tri and Para-Tri Festival

27 May 2019 You can do it!

The Arctic One Tri and Para Tri Festival is taking place on Bank Holiday, Monday 27th May, and this year it is incorporating the British Paratriathlon Championships!

The festival is in its 6th year and has been growing in popularity. All of the races take place in the iconic Dorney Lake, which hosted the Olympics 2012 Rowing. The bike and run courses are around the lake on flat, closed roads! Each race will have a separate wave for paratriathletes, except the Super Duper Sprint Tri which will be a mixed event with separate categories.

The race is suitable for all abilities, and is a great opportunity to try Triathlon. The event is open to everyone, from Novices to Elites. Some of the world’s best para-athletes will also be there on the day competing for the ITU world paratriathlon cup, racing on the same course as everyone else!

As you know, the spirit of SportsAble is “can do”, so this is a great opportunity to try a triathlon for the first time. You will see below there are lots of events to choose from. If you don’t fancy doing the whole event, you can team up with 1 or 2 friends and do any of the triathlons as a relay! There is also an option to do all three races in the same day!

If you are interested in taking part, please email to register your name! You can compete solo, or we can create teams – whatever you prefer.
