Wheel, Walk and Talk – copy
Would you like to get more active but don’t know where to start, or perhaps you would rather exercise with other people than alone?
SportsAble has started a new lunchtime activity called Wheel, Walk and Talk and it runs every other Thursday, from 12:00-2:00pm. The next session is Thursday February 28th.
It doesn’t matter how far you can walk or wheel, SportsAble will be on hand to encourage you and help you get moving. We will also record your progress over the weeks so that you can see how your fitness levels will start to improve.
Getting more social and active are known to improve our overall wellbeing, so we want to encourage everyone to get out of the home and not be alone.
The World Health Organisations recommends that everyone does at least 150 minutes of activity every week to help them stay healthy so this could help you on the way to achieving that target.
Entry to Wheel, Walk and Talk is free of charge and there is free parking too.
