Jean Wins SportsAble Target Hexathlon

Jean Halkett is the proud winner of  this year’s Target Hexathlon, which took place on Sunday 28th April, scoring an impressive 155 points across six different sports.

The top five positions went to the following:

2nd Place – Chris Davies – 150 points

3rd Place – Kerl Haslam – 138 points

4th Place – Anthony Hornby – 136 points

5th Place – Ian Donovan – 135 points

The Target Hexathlon is SportsAble’s annual fun, inter-sports competition where members compete in multiple activities for the Hexathlon title. This year’s competitors enjoyed Wheelchair Basketball, Skittles, Air Weapons, Archery, Boccia and New Age Kurling.

In addition to sport, the Target Hexathlon is great opportunity for members from all sport sections to come together and enjoy fun competition and socialising.

Well done too to Niall and Damian from the sports team and a special thank you to Sally and her catering team for keeping us so well fed. We are now all looking forward to the SportsAble Games!
