Looking Good Thanks to Pharmalink
Many thanks to Neda Bajaj of Genpact Pharmalink who organised the donation of nearly new office equipment to SportsAble.
Global pharmaceutical firm Pharmalink has its European Headquarters Vanwall Business Park in Maidenhead, not far from SportsAble’s home on Braywick Sports Ground. The team there kindly reached out to SportsAble when it was undergoing a reorganisation.
Instead of throwing chairs, desks, cupboards, drawers, tables, noticeboards, wall art and catering equipment on the tip they thought to donate these items to charity.
The desks have given the team of ten’s office at SportsAble a smarter new look for spring; the office chairs have give the Boardroom a professional boost (plus surplus chairs will be stored for conferences) and the remaining equipment is being allocated throughout the building.
“I’m especially thankful for the new desks and drawers,” says SportsAble’s Community Fundraising Manager Ben Harris.
Ben is in charge of the centre’s makeover for 2018 and feels that the donation has come at the right time.
“We’re undergoing a massive refurbishment project ourselves and we have grants to help us with giving the public areas of the building a facelift but no funds left to improve our workspaces.
“Thanks to Genpact Pharmalink that’s now all taken care of. The new gear makes everything look tidier and it has given our office a much more professional look.”
