SportsAble Shooters Take Podium Places
Helen Legg and Nigel Dewing, who are both committed members of the SportsAble Air Weapons section, delivered outstanding performances at the recent British Open Airgun (BOAG) Championships which took place on 22 February in Bisley.
The final results from the day were:
1st place Disabled Championship – Helen Legg
3rd Place Disabled Championship – Nigel Dewing
The Disabled Championship 2020 was based upon a 60 shot match
1st Place Disabled Prone Championship- Helen Legg – Prone competition results 60 shot competition
1st Place Expert Class – Helen Legg – Expert Class (X class) which is a mixed male and female, able bodied and disabled competition
1st Place Expert Class Aggregate – Helen Legg – Aggregate Expert Class (X class) which is a mixed male and female, able bodied and disabled competition results
The British Open Airgun Championships attracted 202 entrants this year with competitors travelling from all over the UK to compete. It is a well-respected competition attracting shooters from all over the UK, including previous Olympians, Paralympians and Commonwealth Games competitors
